Some roads in Istanbul to be closed to traffic for the July 15 run
Traffic regulations will be in effect between 03:00 and 15:00 in Beşiktaş, Üsküdar, and bridge connections due to the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day Run.
The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced that some roads in the city will be temporarily closed to traffic due to the "July 15 Democracy and Martyrs' Commemoration Run," which will be held as part of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events.
According to the regulation made by the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch, vehicle passage will not be permitted in the Beşiktaş and Üsküdar districts and at the 15 July Martyrs Bridge connections between 03:00 and 15:00 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
In the statement from the Governor's Office, drivers were advised to take the closed routes into account and use alternative roads to avoid any inconvenience.

- - Barbaros Boulevard Sait Çiftçi Bridge Access
- - Sait Çiftçi Variant Overpass Bridge Access
- - Yıldız Posta Street Gayrettepe D-100 South Access
- - Barbaros Boulevard Zincirlikuyu D-100 South Access
- - Access from Barbaros Boulevard to the D-100 North towards Sarıyer
- - On the 15 July Martyrs Bridge:
- - D-100 South Road Beşiktaş-Sarıyer junction area
- - D-100 North Road Ümraniye-Altunizade junction area
- - In Üsküdar district:
- - Beylerbeyi Bridge Access
- - Kısıklı Street Altunizade Bridge Access
- - Altunizade Junction
- - Tophaneli Street Bridge Access
It was stated that the regulation will remain in effect until the event is completed, as part of the race route and security measures.
