A severe storm has hit the İzmir-Çeşme highway (O-32). The sudden downpour has negatively affected citizens in traffic.
The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) had issued a warning for thunderstorms in the southwest of the Marmara region, the surroundings of Manisa, and the north of İzmir.
Today, citizens on the İzmir-Çeşme highway (O-32) were stranded due to a sudden downpour, hail, and a severe storm.
Drivers in traffic took shelter at gas stations.
