Suspected poisoning again: Students hospitalized after eating cake in Niğde
Six students staying at a high school boarding dormitory in Niğde were hospitalized after falling ill from eating a cake they ordered from outside.
Students staying at the 75. Yıl Mehmet Göker Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School boarding dormitory in Niğde were taken to the hospital after falling ill following the consumption of a cake they ordered from outside.
It was learned that the monitoring and treatment of the students, identified as E.D. (16), R.D. (17), M.Ç. (15), M.D. (15), R.Ç. (16), and Y.Ç. (15), have begun in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
The students' general health condition is reported to be good, and necessary medical intervention is ongoing.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
