Swimming banned in that province due to rip currents
Due to adverse sea conditions, high waves, and rip currents in Sakarya, swimming has been banned in the Karasu, Kaynarca, and Kocaali districts. Red flags have been raised on the beaches, and warnings have been issued to citizens.
Swimming has been temporarily banned in the Karasu, Kaynarca, and Kocaali districts of Sakarya due to adverse sea conditions.
In accordance with the decision taken by the district governorships, swimming is not permitted in the three districts due to the risk of wave height and rip currents.
RED FLAGS RAISED ON BEACHES
The Lifeguard Group Command teams of the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department have implemented the red flag practice on the beaches. The teams warned citizens that swimming is prohibited and requested that the ban be observed until weather and sea conditions return to normal.
