In Aksaray, Turkish Red Crescent Ankara Branch President and former Hatay Deputy Mehmet Sılay (76) lost his balance and fell during a summit climb on Mount Hasan. Sılay, who suffered a head injury, went missing on the mountain along with 3 people who were with him. Following the incident, search and rescue efforts were rapidly launched with teams mobilized.
THEY WERE EVACUATED BY HELICOPTER
The team, whose location was determined in a short time, was evacuated from the mountain by a military helicopter belonging to the Air Force Command after the first intervention by medical personnel. After being brought to the Aksaray Martyr Önder Güzel Police Vocational Training Center, Sılay and those accompanying him were transferred to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulances.
THEIR HEALTH STATUS IS GOOD
According to the information obtained, it was learned that the health status of Sılay and his friends is good. Aksaray Governor Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu visited the hospital to see Mehmet Sılay and conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
