Ferdi Çatal, who became a veteran in a 2016 terror attack in Kayseri, ended his life this morning at the same bus stop where he was wounded. It was learned that Çatal, who died by suicide due to gambling debts, had recorded a farewell video.
In Kayseri, terror veteran Ferdi Çatal died by suicide this morning at the same bus stop where he was wounded. It was stated that Çatal, who became a veteran in the terror attack that took place on December 17, 2016, had allegedly fallen into a depression due to gambling debts.
Following the report of the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Upon examination by the medical teams, it was determined that Veteran Ferdi Çatal had lost his life.
Police teams took security measures at the scene and conducted an investigation. After the procedures were completed, Çatal's body was taken to the hospital morgue.

It was learned that Çatal had recorded a farewell video before his suicide, in which he stated: "May everyone forgive me. The person who gambles eventually gambles with their life. I learned this. I have reached the end of the road. My relationship with my family and everyone else has been ruined. I am a veteran, I have lost my reputation. Everything started with 'nothing will happen from just one time.' Unfortunately, I became addicted."

On the other hand, it was learned that the funeral of the late Veteran Ferdi Çatal will be held in his hometown of Kastamonu.
