Tofaş to pause production
Tofaş will pause production for 35 days between July 16 and August 20 due to "planned maintenance and the trend in export markets." The company had paused production for 24 days last summer.
Automobile manufacturer Tofaş, part of Koç Holding, will pause production for 35 days between July 16 and August 20 due to planned maintenance and the trend in export markets. According to the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), employees will use their planned annual leave entitlements during the temporary production suspension period, and only maintenance and revision work will be carried out at the factory with skeleton staff.
The company had paused production for 24 days during the summer months last year.
