Tragic accident in Denizli... Passenger bus hits a semi-truck! There are dead and injured

The accident occurred in the Duacılı neighborhood of Denizli's Sarayköy district.

Ahmet G. (60), the driver of the intercity passenger bus with license plate 07 ABL 737, which was traveling from the Didim district of Aydın to the Alanya district of Antalya, noticed the semi-truck with license plate 15 AAY 875 driven by İsmail T. (36) as he was driving on the İzmir-Aydın-Denizli highway. The truck allegedly entered the road from a gas station in an uncontrolled manner. Despite all the driver's efforts to prevent the accident by making a sudden maneuver, the passenger bus struck the side of the truck.

THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BUS WAS SHREDDED

The bus, which went out of control due to the impact, was able to stop with difficulty after traveling several meters. In the accident, which caused great fear among passengers who were caught sleeping, parts that broke off from the bus, which sustained heavy material damage, were scattered across the highway. Gulshen Kadirsancı, a Bulgarian national who was traveling on the single-seat right side of the bus, lost her life at the scene, while 20 people were injured, 3 of them seriously. The injured, who were rescued by fire crews, were transferred to hospitals in Denizli and Sarayköy after receiving initial medical intervention at the scene.

The body of the foreign national who lost her life in the accident was taken to the morgue for autopsy procedures. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
