Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that forest worker Adem Nazım Demirel was martyred and four other forest workers in the vehicle were injured in a fire truck accident in the Hasanbeyli district of Osmaniye.

Minister Yumaklı shared the following statement on his social media account:

"Our forest worker Adem Nazım Demirel has been martyred in a fire truck accident that occurred while responding to a fire in the Hasanbeyli district of Osmaniye. Our forest workers in the vehicle, Ali Aydın Kar, Gökhan Sefer, Suat Metin, and Ahmet Kürşat İren, were injured and have been taken to the hospital for treatment. I pray for God's mercy upon our forest hero who lost his life; I extend my condolences to his family, relatives, and our Forestry Organization, and I wish a speedy recovery to our wounded. May our nation be comforted."
