Unbelievable incident in Antalya: Chimney cover falls on woman sunbathing at hotel

In the Alanya district of Antalya, a woman sitting on a chair to sunbathe by the pool was seriously injured when a chimney cover fell from the hotel roof onto her head.

Hanım Kaya Orakcı, who was vacationing at a hotel in the Konaklı neighborhood, was sitting on a chair in the pool area when a chimney cover fell onto her head from a height of approximately 20 meters from the hotel roof.

Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that the woman, who was taken to the hospital by 112 Emergency Health teams, is in critical condition.

The moment of the accident was recorded by the hotel's security camera.

The footage shows other vacationers swimming in the pool, the chimney cover falling from the roof onto the head of Orakcı, who was sitting on a chair among the lounge chairs, people around rushing to help the woman who collapsed to the ground, and some hotel guests grabbing their children and moving away from the pool.
