Avalanche hits Artvin: Terrifying moments caught on camera! Snow mass reached the village center
An avalanche originating from a forested area in the Aşağı Koyunlu village of Artvin's Şavşat district caused panic, and the moments were captured on a mobile phone camera.
In the Şavşat district of Artvin, an avalanche that occurred in a mountainous and forested area moved rapidly toward the village of Aşağı Koyunlu. The massive snow mass that broke off from the slope reached the village center in a short time.
A citizen who witnessed the event recorded the incident with their mobile phone and shared it on social media. The footage clearly shows the moment the avalanche arrived and the panic experienced by the villagers.
It was learned that, fortunately, there was no loss of life or property in the avalanche disaster, while authorities conducted inspections in the area and issued warnings against the risk of potential new avalanches.
