A citizen in Elazığ found a monkey while walking on the road
A citizen in Elazığ was stunned by the sight he encountered while walking on the road. The person who found the monkey on the road handed the animal over to the teams from the Elazığ Branch Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
A citizen in Elazığ could not believe his eyes when he encountered an animal while walking on the road.
After watching it for a while and realizing the animal was a monkey, the citizen calmly approached and caught it. The citizen, who petted and cared for the monkey for a long time, later reported the situation to the teams from the Branch Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
The teams that arrived at the scene took the monkey and brought it to a veterinarian. The monkey, which received care there, was later sent to Gaziantep and handed over to zoo officials.
It is not yet known how the monkey, which is known to live in tropical forests in Central Africa and Southeast Asia, arrived in the city.
