Tragic accident in Sancaktepe caught on camera: Car from opposite lane hits IETT bus! There are dead and injured
One person lost their life and 4 others were injured after a car lost control on the TEM Connection Road in Sancaktepe, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with an IETT bus. The footage of the tragic accident was captured by an in-vehicle camera.
The accident occurred around 14:30 on the Kartal direction of the Sancaktepe TEM Connection Road.
According to allegations, while an IETT bus operating on the 320A line was traveling in its own lane, a car coming from the opposite direction lost control and crashed into the bus.
Due to the impact, 3 passengers on the bus were slightly injured, while 1 person in the private vehicle lost their life at the scene, and 1 person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Upon notification, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. While the injured were taken to nearby hospitals after initial interventions, the body of the person who lost their life was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
Due to the accident, the Kartal direction of the TEM Connection Road was closed to traffic for a while.
The road was reopened to traffic after the teams completed their work.
