Russia's wanted suspect, sought by Interpol with a red notice for a crime committed there, has been captured in Alanya.
Teams from the Alanya District Gendarmerie Command of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command determined that a Russian national, identified as R.S., who was wanted by Interpol with a red notice on charges of "establishing a criminal organization and extortion," was in the district.
The suspect was taken into custody during an operation conducted at a designated address in the Kestel neighborhood.
Following the processing of their statement, the suspect was handed over to the Repatriation Center of the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
