Worker still missing under collapsed building in Güngören
Rescue efforts for a worker trapped under rubble following a collapse at a building undergoing demolition as part of urban transformation in Güngören have been ongoing for 16 hours.
A collapse occurred in the upper section of a building undergoing demolition as part of urban transformation in Güngören, Istanbul. Numerous fire, AFAD, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Following the collapse, 2 people were trapped under the rubble, and 1 person was rescued after search and rescue efforts by fire crews.

RESCUE EFFORTS HAVE BEEN ONGOING FOR 16 HOURS
While search efforts for the other worker trapped under the rubble continue, the front part of the building was demolished using heavy machinery to reach the worker. Rescue operations have been continuing for approximately 16 hours through the efforts of fire, AFAD, and municipal teams.
