10 dead in gold mine landslide
A landslide at a gold mine in Indonesia has left 10 people dead, with 40 others still missing.
A landslide triggered by heavy rainfall has occurred at a gold mine on Indonesia's Sulawesi Island. Authorities announced that 10 people lost their lives in the landslide, and 40 others are currently missing.

Heriyanto, head of the National Search and Rescue Agency, stated that search and rescue operations are being carried out by a team of 164 people, including police and military personnel, and that the teams walked approximately 20 kilometers to reach the area where the landslide occurred. The National Search and Rescue Agency noted that the landslide also damaged several houses and a bridge.

In May, 67 people lost their lives in floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall in Indonesia's West Sumatra province.
