1,000 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip to be treated in the UAE
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered that 1,000 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip be hosted along with their families, and that all their medical and healthcare needs be provided in state hospitals until they recover and return to their country.
According to the official UAE news agency WAM, UAE President Al Nahyan held a phone conversation with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President Mirjana Spoljaric.
During the meeting, which emphasized the importance of delivering humanitarian and medical aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip in an intensive, continuous, and safe manner, it was noted that joint regional and international efforts are essential to strengthen humanitarian aid for the needs of those affected by the current crisis.
INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED
Al Nahyan also issued instructions for 1,000 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip to be hosted along with their families, and for all necessary medical and healthcare services to be provided in UAE state hospitals until they recover and return to their country.
It was stated that this initiative is part of the UAE's efforts to provide assistance to the brotherly Palestinian people, especially children, in response to the difficult humanitarian conditions they are facing.
