In a statement released by Amazon, it was highlighted that Georgia continues its rise as a technology hub.

The statement reported that AWS plans to invest 11 billion dollars to expand its infrastructure in Georgia to support cloud computing and artificial intelligence technologies, adding that this investment is expected to create at least 550 new high-skilled jobs.

The statement pointed out that generative artificial intelligence is increasing the demand for advanced cloud infrastructure and processing power, emphasizing that AWS's investments will support the future of artificial intelligence in Georgia's data centers.

The statement noted that AWS data centers are flexible enough to efficiently run graphics processing units for traditional workloads or artificial intelligence and machine learning models, and expressed that this state-of-the-art artificial intelligence infrastructure will strengthen Georgia's position as an innovation hub.

The statement also touched upon Amazon's investments in Georgia and the employment it has created, sharing the information that the company has invested 18.5 billion dollars in the state since 2010.
