It has been revealed that a 3,000-year-old gold bracelet went missing during an inventory check in Egypt.
The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities stated that a 3,000-year-old gold bracelet had gone missing from the restoration laboratory of the Egyptian Museum in the capital, Cairo, but did not specify when the bracelet was last seen.
The Egyptian press reported that the gold bracelet in question dates back to the reign of Amenemope, a pharaoh of Egypt's 21st Dynasty (1070-945 BC), and that it was discovered to be missing during an inventory check conducted ahead of the "Treasures of the Pharaohs" exhibition, which is set to be held in Rome, the capital of Italy, at the end of next month.
