4 ministers changed in Polish cabinet

In Poland, a cabinet reshuffle has taken place as 4 ministers are set to participate in the European Parliament elections to be held on June 9.

In the new cabinet, Tomasz Siemioniak has replaced the current Minister of Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwinski, and Hanna Wroblewska has replaced Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz.

While Jakub Jaworowski has been appointed to the seat of Minister of State Assets Borys Budka, Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman has handed over his duties to Krzysztof Paszyk.

FIGHTING AGAINST HYBRID ATTACKS

Speaking at the handover ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Andrzej Duda said that they are going through difficult times and are fighting against Russia's aggression toward Ukraine, Russian imperialism, and the hybrid attack on the country's border with Belarus.

Stating that the changes made in the aforementioned ministries today are very important for Poland's security, the President of Poland noted that he hopes the airport project named Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, which will be built in the town of Baranow, 40 kilometers from Warsaw, will be implemented as soon as possible.

"Poland needs a large airport capable of carrying a massive load, including military cargo when necessary," said Duda, also emphasizing the importance of building a nuclear power plant.

Stating that cooperation, especially with the United States, is of fundamental importance in the field of nuclear energy, Duda asked the government to pay special attention to this issue.
