4 people freeze to death in Afghanistan
In Afghanistan, 4 people, including 2 children, have died from freezing
According to the Afghan press, Sar-e Pol Provincial Spokesperson Habibullah Masrur stated in a press release that 2 women and 2 children died from freezing due to cold weather in the Elbedr region of the province.
Masrur also noted that the roofs of 3 houses collapsed due to snowfall, resulting in the death of 1 person.
Last year, nearly 200 people died from freezing in Afghanistan due to the severe winter.
