5-day national mourning declared in Iran
Following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying delegation in a helicopter crash, a 5-day national mourning period has been declared in Iran.
Iranian state television reported that the wreckage of the helicopter carrying Raisi and his delegation had been reached and that there were no signs of life.
An Iranian official speaking to Reuters announced that Raisi and the foreign minister had lost their lives in the crash.

LEBANON DECLARES 3 DAYS OF MOURNING
Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced that a 3-day official mourning period has been declared in the country and flags will be flown at half-mast due to the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in the helicopter crash.
Mikati's message of condolence was shared by the official Lebanese news agency NNA.
In the condolence message, it was noted that a 3-day official mourning period has been declared in Lebanon due to the death of Iranian President Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian in the helicopter crash.
