6.1 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Cuba
A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has occurred in the Caribbean nation of Cuba. According to initial reports, there was no loss of life or property following the quake.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) announced that a 6.1 magnitude tremor was recorded with its epicenter approximately 104 kilometers northwest of the city of Mantua, Cuba.
The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, was reportedly felt in Mantua as well as other coastal settlements in the western part of the country and in Mexico. No loss of life or property has been reported following the earthquake.
