6.2 magnitude earthquake in Japan! Was there a tsunami?
It has been reported that a 6.2 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Yakushima Island in Japan's Kagoshima Prefecture.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was 151 kilometers southeast of Yakushima Island.
No loss of life or property was reported in the 6.2 magnitude earthquake, which was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers.
No tsunami warning was issued following the earthquake.
