A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of Mexico. No tsunami warning was issued following the earthquake.
A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of the Chiapas state in Mexico, near the Guatemala border.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicenter of the earthquake in Mexico was 17 kilometers southwest of the Brisas Barra de Suchiate region in Chiapas state.
The earthquake, which was recorded at a depth of 75.4 kilometers, was also felt in the neighboring country of Guatemala.
No loss of life or property has been reported yet, and no tsunami warning was issued following the earthquake.
