6.7 magnitude earthquake in the Philippines
A 6.7 magnitude earthquake has occurred in the southern Philippines.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was 100 kilometers off the coast of the city of Sarangani, located in the south of the country.
According to initial reports, there was no loss of life or property in the 6.7 magnitude earthquake, which occurred at a depth of approximately 70.3 kilometers.
The Philippines, one of the countries where seismic activity is most frequent in the world, is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire.
