A 7.2 magnitude earthquake has occurred in Kamchatka, in the east of Russia. A tsunami warning has been issued for the region.
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of the Kamchatka region in eastern Russia.
According to the statement made by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the depth of the earthquake was recorded at 51 kilometers.
The U.S. National Weather Service's National Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning following the earthquake.
