8 more trucks carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza enter through Rafah Border Crossing
The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that it has received 8 trucks of humanitarian aid via the Rafah Border Crossing, bringing the number of convoys that have arrived in Gaza since October 21 to 4.
In a written statement released by the Red Crescent on Tuesday, it was noted that the Palestinian Red Crescent received the fourth humanitarian aid package, consisting of 8 trucks, from the Egyptian Red Crescent at the Rafah Border Crossing.
The statement specified that 5 of the trucks were carrying water, 2 were carrying food, and 1 was carrying medicine.
Wael Abu Mohsen, Director of the Rafah Border Crossing Press Office, stated in an interview with an AA reporter on October 23 that a "third" humanitarian aid convoy of 20 vehicles had entered Gaza from Egypt through the Rafah Border Crossing.
The first aid convoy consisted of 20 trucks and the second of 14 trucks; with today's convoy, the total number of aid trucks that have entered Gaza has risen to 62.
