A first in Gaza after 18 years: Israel hangs its flag

Israel, responding to the Al-Aqsa Flood operation launched by Hamas on October 7, has placed Gaza under siege.

Continuing its attacks on civilians in Gaza for days, Israel has hung its flag on a house in northern Gaza for the first time in 18 years.

It was noted that Israeli soldiers, who entered the Gaza Strip with tanks, hung an Israeli flag on a house in the region.

In the recorded video, a person is heard saying, "After three weeks of horrific crimes, they have hung the Israeli flag in the heart of Gaza. We will not forget this. We will not stop until victory."

It was stated that this is the first time Israel has hung a flag on Gaza territory since its withdrawal from Gaza in 2005.

The Israeli army has been conducting limited ground operations in Gaza for several days. There has been no clear statement yet from Israel regarding when a comprehensive ground offensive into Gaza will begin.

Meanwhile, clashes between Palestinian groups and Hamas have intensified. The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, reported that two of its members lost their lives in an armed clash with Israeli forces near the Lebanese border.
