Abdi: SDF is withdrawing from eastern Aleppo
Following the operation carried out by the Syrian army, Mazlum Abdi announced, 'We will withdraw from eastern Aleppo.'
SDF/YPG leader Mazlum Abdi, in a statement made via social media, announced that they would withdraw from eastern Aleppo and redeploy to the east of the Euphrates.said.
The tensions that began in Aleppo between the SDF/YPG and HTSturned into intenseclashesdaysafterthey started. The Damascusadministration announced that it has launchedan operation against the SDF/YPG. Following the attackscarried out at4 points, SDF leader Mazlum Abdi announced that they would withdraw to the east of the Euphrates starting from 7in the morning.
'WE WILL REDEPLOY EAST OF THE EUPHRATES'
SDF onbehalf of, in a statement made by Abdi,thefollowing expressions were included:
"Calls from friendly countries and mediators,integration pIn line with our good intentions to complete the process and our commitment to implementing the terms of the March 10agreement,we willwithdrawour forcesfrom the current contact areas in eastern Aleppo, which have been under attack for twodays, startingtomorrow (Saturday, January 17) at 07:00 AM. withdrawing tothe east of the Euphratesto redeploy in thoseregions."
