Al Jazeera: Hamas has accepted the ceasefire proposal
In Palestine, Hamas has informed Qatari and Egyptian mediators that it has accepted the ceasefire proposal.
Following the Al-Aqsa Flood raid launched by Hamas against Israel on October 7, 2023, the Israeli administration, which has effectively carried out genocide and destruction in Gaza, has massacred more than 30 thousand Palestinians under the pretext of rescuing hostages held by Hamas and destroying Hamas.
Gaza, where nearly 2 million Palestinians have been forced to migrate, is now almost a ghost city.
Ceasefire and hostage exchange negotiations, which have been held several times with mediator countries, were most recently taking place in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
HAMAS HAS ACCEPTED THE CEASEFIRE
In the Israel-Gaza war, all eyes have been on the talks in Cairo in recent days.
The decision to emerge from the talks was highly anticipated.
According to the report by the Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera, Hamas has informed Qatari and Egyptian mediators that it has accepted the ceasefire proposal.
It remains to be seen how Israel will respond to this stance by Hamas.
