Al-Qassam Brigades: Some Israeli soldiers killed in ambush in Rafah
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that there were deaths and injuries among Israeli soldiers in a "complex ambush" set up in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a written statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that a complex ambush was set up for an Israeli military vehicle that entered the Al-Saudi area in Tel al-Sultan, located in the west of Rafah, and that it was targeted with "Yasin 105" rockets.
The statement noted that there were deaths and injuries among the Israeli soldiers in the ambush, that Israeli rescue teams reached the area, and that this armored personnel carrier was also hit with "Yasin 105" rockets, resulting in the deaths of the soldiers inside.
In another statement issued by the Al-Qassam Brigades, it was stated that the Sofa military site in southern Israel was bombed in coordination with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement.
The Israeli army has not yet made a statement regarding the matter.
