All contact lost with health teams in Gaza

MAP CEO Melanie Ward, based in the UK, stated on MAP's X account: "As Israel's indiscriminate bombardment continues to intensify and a large-scale ground operation appears imminent, we have lost all contact with our team in Gaza this evening."

Ward recalled the warning made by her colleague Mahmoud Shalabi a few days ago when power outages began to take effect in Gaza: "I fear there will be massacres, and these massacres will be carried out in total darkness."

''THIS HORROR MUST BE ENDED''

Pointing out that Israel has killed more than 7,000 people in Gaza, 3,000 of whom are children, Ward continued her remarks as follows:

"Two-thirds of those killed so far are women and children. With Gaza cut off from the world, we are horrified by what will happen next. The world must not remain silent. Our political leaders must not continue to give the green light to the atrocities being committed in Gaza and must remember their responsibilities to protect Palestinian civilians from these crimes. We need a ceasefire now and an 'immediate' end to this unprecedented horror."

The Palestine Telecommunications Company had announced that fixed-line, mobile, and internet communication services were completely cut off due to Israel's very intense attacks in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
