Amazon's artificial intelligence breakthrough

In a statement released by the company, it was announced that the "Build on Trainium" program has been launched to help universities and researchers develop new artificial intelligence technologies by providing them with powerful computing resources.

The statement noted that the program will offer access to Amazon's custom artificial intelligence chips, called AWS Trainium, which are designed to handle complex artificial intelligence tasks, and pointed out that researchers can use these chips to test new ideas, build advanced artificial intelligence systems, and improve existing technologies.

The statement indicated that the size of the investment in this scope is 110 million dollars, emphasizing that with Amazon's support, researchers will be able to access the computing power they need to accelerate their artificial intelligence projects.

Highlighting that universities such as Carnegie Mellon and UC Berkeley are included in this program, the statement also noted that Amazon will offer grants to support more research projects, particularly those focusing on innovative artificial intelligence solutions.

The statement explained that the artificial intelligence developments created through the program will be open-source, allowing researchers to continue advancing these innovations.
