Another reaction to Israel at Eurovision comes from Norway!
Alessandra, Norway's 2023 Eurovision Song Contest representative, has announced her withdrawal from the duty of presenting her country's votes in tonight's final, expressing her support for Palestine.
Reactions to Israel's participation in Eurovision continue.
Alessandra Mele, who represented Norway in last year's Eurovision Song Contest, has protested Israel's inclusion in Eurovision by withdrawing from her role as the spokesperson for her country's votes in the Eurovision final.
In her statement, Mele said, "The Eurovision slogan 'United by Music' is the reason why I make music. But right now, these are just empty words. There is a genocide going on and I really ask you to please open your eyes, open your hearts. Let love lead you to the truth, it is right in front of your eyes. Free Palestine."
