Apple's revenue increased in the three-month period

Apple, which considers the July-September period as the fourth quarter in its fiscal calendar, has announced its balance sheet.

Accordingly, the company's revenue rose by 6 percent annually to 94.9 billion dollars in this period. Apple had generated approximately 89.5 billion dollars in revenue in the same period last year.

Apple's revenue exceeded market expectations during the period in question.

The company's net profit, however, decreased by 35.8 percent in the same period, falling to 14.7 billion dollars. The firm had reported a profit of 22.9 billion dollars in the same period last year.

Apple's earnings per share also fell from 1.47 dollars to 97 cents in this period.

The decline in Apple's profit during this period was influenced by a judicial decision in Europe that forced the company to pay more than 14 billion dollars in taxes to Ireland.

INCREASE IN SALES

During this period, an increase was recorded in Apple's iPhone, Mac, and iPad sales.

The amount of iPhone sales rose by 5.5 percent annually to 46.2 billion dollars in the July-September period.

In the same period, iPad sales increased by 7.9 percent to 6.9 billion dollars, and Mac sales rose by 1.7 percent to 7.7 billion dollars.
