April 23, the world's first and only children's holiday, has been recognized as a holiday in Seattle, one of the largest cities in the US. 

According to an announcement made by translator İlknur Özdemir on her social media account, Seattle Mayor Katie B. Wilson announced in a proclamation that she has declared this day as National Sovereignty and Children's Day in her city, after explaining the importance and value of April 23.

This news coming from the US city of Seattle has once again demonstrated the universal value of the republic's founder, Atatürk.
