Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to US President Donald Trump's threats to "send Iran back to the Stone Age," stating, "There was no oil or natural gas production in the Middle East back then. Does the US President and the Americans who put him in office really want to turn back time?"
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement regarding US President Donald Trump's threats to "send Iran back to the Stone Age."
In a post on his social media account, Araghchi stated, "There is a very striking difference between today and the Stone Age. There was no oil or natural gas production in the Middle East back then.
Does the US President and the Americans who put him in office really want to turn back time?" he said.
Trump had frequently used the phrase "We will send Iran back to the Stone Age" in his recent statements regarding attacks on Iran.
In his address to the nation tonight, the US President specifically said, "We are on track to complete all of America's military objectives in a short time.
We will strike very hard blows against Iran over the next 2-3 weeks. We will send them back to the Stone Age where they belong."
