Armed attack at a school in the US
It has been reported that 2 people lost their lives and 6 others were injured in an armed attack on a religious school in the US state of Wisconsin.
According to information provided by the police, an armed attack took place in the morning hours at the Abundant Life Christian School located in Madison, the capital of the state of Wisconsin.
Making a press statement regarding the attack, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes announced that 2 people lost their lives and 6 people were injured in the incident.
Noting that the suspect of the attack was a student at the school and was found dead inside the school by the police, Barnes emphasized that the officers did not fire their weapons while responding to the incident.
The police took extensive security measures in the surrounding area and closed many roads to traffic, while the attacker was found dead.
It is stated that the Abundant Life Christian School provides education to approximately 390 students up to the high school level.
US PRESIDENT BIDEN INFORMED
On the other hand, in a written statement made by the White House regarding the attack, it was stated that President Joe Biden had been informed about the incident.
