Swedish police have announced that 10 people were killed in an armed attack on a school in the city of Örebro.
Ten people have lost their lives in an armed attack on a school in Örebro, Sweden. Police stated that they believe the attacker acted alone and that the investigation is still in its very early stages.
The death toll from the armed attack on the Risbergska School in the Swedish city of Örebro has become clear.
In a press conference, Swedish police reported that approximately 10 people had lost their lives in the attack, for which they had previously announced 5 injuries, and did not share any new information regarding the number of injured.

Stating that identification efforts for those who lost their lives are ongoing, the police expressed that they believe the attacker is among the deceased and that they do not expect any further attacks.
The police stated that the attacker had no connection to any gang and that they do not believe the attack was carried out with a terrorist motive.
The police indicated that they believe the attacker acted alone and that the investigation is still in its very early stages.
On the other hand, the police had previously stated in an earlier announcement that they believed the attacker was among the 5 people injured in the attack.
