Armenia has opened fire on Azerbaijani positions more than 40 times in the last 3 days

Armenia continues to escalate tensions in the region.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, at approximately 17:15 local time, Armenian units opened fire from their positions in the direction of the Sultanbey settlement in the Pashali district toward the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Shada settlement of the Shahbuz district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The ministry noted that more than 40 instances of fire have been opened on Azerbaijani positions in the last 3 days, and stated that necessary measures have been taken against the Armenian armed groups.

IT WAS REPORTED THAT AZERBAIJANI POSITIONS WERE FIRED UPON 16 TIMES

In a statement released earlier today by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, it was reported that Armenian units had opened fire a total of 16 times from their positions in the direction of the Jil settlement in the Chambarak district, the Guneshli settlement in the Basarkechar district, and the Hoznavar settlement in the Gorus district toward the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Eyriveng settlement of the Gadabay district, the Jamilli settlement of the Kalbajar district, and the Hajilar settlement of the Lachin district.
