Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jennifer Aniston announce their candidate endorsements for the US election
In the US, former California Governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emmy-winning actress Jennifer Aniston have announced their support for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the November 5 presidential election.
US actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jennifer Aniston have announced on their social media accounts who they will support in the presidential election.
In a statement on his X account, the famous actor and former governor Schwarzenegger expressed that he hates politics and does not trust most politicians.
Reminding everyone that he is a former Republican, Schwarzenegger "Let me be honest with you: I don't like either party right now." he stated.
Stating that if former President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is elected, he will find new ways to be more "anti-American" than he already is, Schwarzenegger noted that people will gain nothing but anger.
Schwarzenegger said, "I will always be an American before I am a Republican. That is why I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz (the Democratic vice-presidential candidate) this week." he stated.
Emmy-winning actress Jennifer Aniston also announced in a post on her Instagram account that she had voted for Harris and Walz during the early voting period.
Aniston noted that she voted not only for access to healthcare, equal rights, and a fair economy, but also for "sanity."
Calling for an end to the era of fear, chaos, and attacks on their democracy, and urging people to vote for someone who will unite them, Aniston announced that she "proudly" voted for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
