According to information obtained from local sources, a conflict occurred in the Sanameyn district of Daraa between two groups of "Shabiha" militias affiliated with the Assad regime.

Light and medium-range weapons were used in the clash between two groups affiliated with military intelligence and military security units in the Cura Neighborhood of the Sanameyn district.

In the fighting, which continued intermittently until the evening hours, 17 people, including 2 children and 1 woman, lost their lives.

Tensions remain high in the district.
