Assassination attempt on Donald Trump during rally
Donald Trump, who is continuing his rallies for the presidential election, was subjected to an armed attack during his speech in Pennsylvania. While information was shared that the attacker was killed, the first statement also came from Biden, Trump's rival in the presidential race.
The attack occurred while Trump was addressing his supporters at a rally held in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday afternoon.
Following the sound of gunshots, chaos erupted, and Trump supporters moved away from the stands and the event.
A few seconds later, Trump was tackled to the ground by Secret Service agents protecting him from the gunman.
According to initial reports, approximately 8-10 shots were fired, and members of the press stated that they heard 'popping sounds' after Trump fell to the ground.

Trump was surrounded by the Secret Service seconds after the shots were fired, and the agency stated in a release that the former president is 'safe'.
The statement read, 'The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former President is safe. This is an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available.'
The extent of Trump's injuries is not yet known, but it appears he wanted to show his supporters that he was fine immediately after being shot.

Trump's former Vice President Mike Pence was the first to make a statement regarding the attack, posting on X: 'Karen and I are praying for President Trump and urge every American to join us.'
The White House confirmed that President Biden was briefed on the incident after it occurred.

According to a report in the Washington Post, one of the rally attendees lost their life, and the attacker was killed.
The US press report was made official following the statement by Butler District Attorney Goldinger.
Goldinger reported that the person who fired the shots and one person present at the scene were killed in the attack that occurred during Trump's election campaign.
Trump was using a chart to speak about illegal immigration at the rally.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro strongly condemned this assassination attempt that took place in his state.
In his statement on X, Shapiro said, 'Violence against any political party or political leader is absolutely unacceptable.'

His son, Donald Trump Jr., shared a photo of his bloodied father pumping his fist on X with the note: "He will never stop fighting to save America."

It was observed that Trump was injured in the ear and blood was flowing down his right cheek after explosions similar to gunshots while he was speaking at the podium during the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
His security detail intervened immediately and removed Trump from the podium.
Investigations are ongoing as to whether this was an assassination attempt on Trump.

BIDEN SPOKE WITH TRUMP
US President Joe Biden spoke by phone with former President Donald Trump, who was attacked during his election campaign in Pennsylvania.
