Atomic Energy Organization of Iran: Missile hits Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant site
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced that a missile hit the site of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, stating that there were no casualties or damage in the incident.
In attacks by the US and Israel against Iran, the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, located on the coast of the Persian Gulf, was targeted.
In a statement issued by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, it was reported that a missile hit the plant's site today at 21:08 local time.
The statement indicated that, according to initial investigations, there were no financial, technical, or human casualties in the incident, and no damage occurred to any part of the plant.
It had been targeted before
A similar attack on the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant site occurred on March 17, following the attacks that began on February 28.
In that incident as well, it was reported that the missile did not hit the plant building directly but rather the campus area, and that there were no casualties or material damage, and no harm was caused to any part of the plant.
