It is alleged that one soldier was injured in a rocket attack carried out by Iran-backed groups on a base where the US military is stationed in Syria's Deir ez-Zor province.
According to information obtained from local sources, Iran-backed groups stationed on the west bank of the Euphrates River in Deir ez-Zor attacked the base at the Conoco gas field, where US forces are stationed, with rockets around noon.

It was claimed that one US soldier was injured in the attack. No statement has been made by the US regarding the attack yet.
US military bases in Al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor have been frequently targeted by rockets and kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of unknown origin since the beginning of the year.
