Attack in Syria: Two American soldiers killed
In a statement released by the U.S. Department of Defense, the Pentagon, it was reported that 2 U.S. soldiers and 1 civilian interpreter lost their lives as a result of gunfire in Syria.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) made a statement regarding the attack on the social media platform X. The statement
said, "On December 13, a lone ISIS gunman in Syria opened fireorganizedas a result of the ambush, 2 U.S. soldiers and 1 U.S. citizen lost their lives, and 3 soldiers were wounded. The armed attacker, waskilled in theclash. The statement included these remarks.
