Attack on the Turkish Embassy in Berlin
A group of approximately 40 people painted the embassy wall with red paint and wrote slogans in white paint on the sidewalk in front of the embassy.
In the Berlin-Tiergarten district, the wall of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Berlin was painted by a group during the night hours.
Police have detained two individuals, aged 19 and 20, in connection with the incident.
According to the information obtained, a group of approximately 40 people painted the embassy wall with red paint and wrote slogans in white paint on the sidewalk in front of the embassy.
The group also damaged the wall of the neighboring South African Embassy and set off smoke bombs.
Police teams arriving at the scene determined that the group had fled the area.
The two detained individuals were caught in the vicinity. The investigation into the incident is being conducted by the State Security unit of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office.
