Reuters, citing eyewitnesses, reported that heavy smoke was seen around the diplomatic mission.

In a statement made via social media, the Dubai Media Office indicated that the fire that broke out following the drone attack near the US Consulate was extinguished by authorities.

The statement emphasized that emergency teams responded rapidly to the scene and stated that there were no injuries in the incident.

It had previously been reported that the US Embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, had also been attacked.

It was reported that damage occurred in the incident, but there was no loss of life.

The developments come after attacks carried out by Israel and the US against Iran on Saturday, which were reported to have caused numerous casualties.
