Attack on wedding house in Iran: 4 dead, 68 injured
Hormozgan Deputy Governor Ahmed Nefisi announced that the number of injured in an attack on a wedding house in Kuhestek, Sirik district, has risen to 68.
A new statement has been released regarding the death toll and the number of injured in an attack on a residence where a wedding ceremony was being held in the Kuhestek town of the Sirik district, in Iran's southern Hormozgan province.
Speaking to Iranian state television, Hormozgan Deputy Governor Ahmed Nefisi stated that the number of people injured in the airstrike, which he attributed to the US, has risen to 68.
In a previous statement, Nefisi had announced that at least 4 people had lost their lives and 50 others were injured in the attack. With the latest update, it was reported that the number of injured has increased.
While it was stated that a wedding ceremony was being held at the residence targeted by the attack, it was noted that official statements regarding the details of the incident are being monitored.
